Subject: [BD-ADM] message board post without an author?
Date: Wed, 3 Apr 2002 19:47:42 -0800

Hi,

I was just reviewing one of the boards I recently adopted and there is a
query without an author's name, although the text of the query included a
person's first name and e-mail address. It appears to be a perfectly
legitimate message query with an acceptable subject line.

I didn't think it was possible to send in a query without something in the
Author line?

My first reaction was not to open it, but then I realized Rootsweb/Ancestry
has its own virus screening software, right?

I was just kind of curious about someone being able to post without an
author. This was posted in January of this year.

Thanks,
Marilyn Gouge
