Subject: RE: [BAd] Is this medal for sale post commercial

Hi all,
This one is harder. Was the poster a regular contributor to the board or a one time advertiser? Was the poster providing something of interest to genealogists. I have various things besides certificates that were owned by ancestors. Is this medal really marked with a Strader name or unmarked but just like one that a person by that name was also awarded? On it's face the post look commercial because it's emphasis is on selling (for sale in subject) and e-bay and it gives an uncalled for dollar amount which appears to be put there just to entice you to buy once you know what the sale price is. However it does give a link to his medal collection and their is some genealogical info there. I think this one can be deleted without feeling bad. However if
these medals actually have the soldier's name on them then I might not delete it. I guess I'd e-mail the submitter to find out and explain the policy on prohibition of advertising. Then decide. I'm probably too lenient.

Surnames: STRADER
Classification: Query
I have decided to sell the Civil War medal of George S. Strader. I paid $1200
for it. I have narrowed the focus of my collection to the regiments I do
websites about - 12th WV Inf, 1st WV Cav, 1st WV inf and Carlin's Battery.. I
simply can't afford to keep all the medals I have. - I have the medal listed on
eBay but also on my WV Civil War Medals page, <A HREF="http://www.lindapages.com/cwmedals.htm">
