Hi all,

A message has just been posted on one of my boards that leaves me
wondering whether I should delete it and ask the poster to replace it
with a revised message that excludes any mention of money.

The topic itself is directly relevant to the purpose of the list, and
the poster is clearly associated with a well-known and well-respected
genealogical society. My only question is about the mention of fees
charged.

Due to a recent spate of spam in German, this message has not yet
appeared on the list because I added the gateway to the reject list.

I am considering the following options:

1) Delete the message, contact the poster explaining why that was done,
and ask them to repost a message that excludes any mention of fees
charged -- then forward that message to the list when it gets bounced to
me (due to gateway being on reject).

2) Leave the message as is, but contact the poster and explain why they
should avoid any mention of $, and go ahead and forward the message to
the list.

3) Leave the message as is, explain to poster why it should have been
worded differently, without forwarding the message to the list.

If this were your board/list, what would you do?

[By the way, the message has also been posted to other boards and has
already shown up on one list that I am merely a subscriber to.]
