Subject: [BAd] Odd characters inserted in gatewayed message

Hello the board and listowner lists:

Can anyone tell why the odd characters appear on
this gatewayed message? Seems that the apostrophes
and dashes are "translated" poorly when the message
goes to the list.

Is this something that might easily be fixed? Or
perhaps is being worked on?

In viewing the message as on the board, the text is clean. Here is a copy and paste:
"My great-grandfather, Michael O’Connell, emigrated from Ireland with his Mother Hanora
O’Connell and 4 siblings – Delhia, Patrick, Richard & Mary in approximately 1847. They
settled in St. Charles (just outside Chicago) and subsequently moved to Frederika, Bremer
County, Iowa. Michael married Hannah Collins on 4/22/1867 in Waverly, Iowa."

Thanks,

Lauren
