Assuming you sent the message to the correct address <g>, you may not
have received a response yet because either you haven't waited long
enough or because RootsWeb is satisfied with the current administration
of this board.

Perhaps a more effective approach would be to write directly to the
board admin. to mention you recently adopted the list and, if she would
ever be inclined to give it up, you'd be interested in adopting the board.

Could you elaborate (perhaps more suited on the LO list)? Not sure why
this would put you in an awkward position.
