Joan,

I never seemed to have the best of luck typing in urls, especially if people
give me an extensive one.
So I do series of links--usgenweb tennessee union etc.
I have always used rootsweb.com as search and made sure that that was the
address pulled up on the choices given.

You are saying there are "old' directories out there leading my astray?

Could be. All I am pulling up today when I look for example are good "post"
with name and e-mail requirements. Maybe I have learned to look before I
try to post anyway!
