I'd like to take a tour next year to visit the Boer War battlefields,
however, I don't really know how to decide upon a tour firm. Many of
the companies that do tours seem to be based in South Africa, and I
haven't found many in the UK.

I would be travelling on my own, and I'm particularly interested in
the places that the 10th and 18th Hussars were - Transvaal,
Paaderberg, Driefontein, Ladysmith, Uniondale amongst others (if that
helps).

Can anyone from their experience give me any advice or suggestions as
to a good tour company. I would consider tacking a safari onto the
back of the tour should that be an option.
