I would like to subscribe to BOER-WAR-L.

I am seeking information about my Grandfather's service in the Boer War
whose name and regiment I have listed below.

William Henry Poole
The Princess of Wales Own (Yorkshire
Regiment) 19th

I have confirmed that a regiment of this name participated in the Battle of
Paardeberg.

I also have some of his service ribbons and the tin "chocolate box"
embossed with Queen Victoria's image.

Any help or guidance that you could or may provide would be extremely
appreciated.
