I have just found this list and would like to enquire if anyone on the list
has ever come across James Emerson Neilly. He was the War correspondent for
the Pall Mall Gazette at the Siege of Makefing. He later wrote a book called
"Besieged with BP" about his time there.
James Emerson Neilly was my husband Gt.Grandfather. I am trying to find out
more of his life during the Boer War and would be very grateful for any help.
