hello,
I have just subscribed to this list, in the hope that I can find some
information which might just help me find, ancestors (male) who seem to have
vanished when it came to looking for them on the 1891c, obviously too young
to have died (barring accidental deaths etc)
If I am correct the above war was taking place around the time of the 1891c
so they may have joined up< can anyone tell me what regiments were around in
the lancashire area at that time, particularly in bolton, salford,
manchester districts, and are there any accessible records? if so, where can
they be found?
