This is my first post on this forum and I am researching my great uncle
Thomas Stanley Murland. The surname is often mispelt as MUIRLAND or MULLAND.
Stanley was gazetted 2/Lt on 7th April 1900 and relinquished his commission
as Captain TS Murland on Feb 12 1902. He went out to S Africa on the SS
Galeka. He was taken prisoner in December. Apart from that I know very
little. If anyone can point me in the right direction for service records
etc I would be very grateful.
