Fairly new to this - in fact William Maynard is the first person with military connections that I am investigating. Any suggestions as to where I might find information regarding the involvement of the Royal Sussex in this and other campaigns?

Yes, the 1st Royal Sussex was involved in some of the actions of the Boer War. Ken H
