I would appreciate any thoughts on this person. I found his military history at Kew which stated that he joined the Sth Africa Light Horse until it was disbanded. Then he joined the 7th Corp of Hussars in 1905.

I do not understand what he was doing in SA prior to join the SALH and I have been unable to find him on any passenger list.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how I could find any more information on him please.
