I have the following unconfirmed information on the children of John Boggs
and Mary Keys:
1. JOHN2 BOGGS (JOSEPH1) was born 1734 in Ireland, and died 1796. He
married MARY
KEYS 1745. She was born 1725 in Scotland.
Children of JOHN BOGGS and MARY KEYS are:
i. JAMES L.BOGGS, CAPT., b. 1752, Londonderry, Ireland, or Surry County, NC;
d.
November 1835, Blaine, Lawrence County, Kentucky.
ii. JOHN BOGGS, JR., b. Abt. 1756, North Carolina; d. October 25, 1788, Lee
County, Virginia.
iii. MARY BOGGS, b. Aft. 1749.
iv. EZEKIEL BOGGS.
Ezekiel Boggs, on July 15, 1776, enlisted in Goodman's Company of the North
Carolina 4th Regiment.
v. PHOEBE BOGGS, b. 1754, North Carolina; d. Abt. 1842, Lee County,
Virginia; m. JOHN
FLANARY, REV., Abt. 1777, North Carolina; b. 1748, Wilkes County, North
Carolina; d.
January 1842, Lee County, Virginia.
Notes for REV. JOHN FLANARY:
Minister of Deep Springs Church.
Between 1775-1783 served in Captain Enoch Oxburn's Militia Company
Burial: Pennington Cemetery
