Hi Michael & Everyone
I did promise Michael a while ago I would send him some recipes from out of
the book but as usual time and "sometimer's" gets away from me? So that is
why I thought I would kill two birds with one stone? One for Michael & one
for BIG?
Please, Please can I be the taste tester? <g>
BFN Pauline

Hi Marilyn! I'm sorry, I don't have any recipes to offer, but I too, would
be very interested in having a look at some old Sussex specific recipes. I
think this is a grand idea! Also I'd like to volunteer to be a taste tester.
Who knows, this may develop into a tasty collection worthy of it's own
location on BIG.
Cheers,
Michael

> Hi Group
> I thoroughly enjoyed Pauline's email about life in the 1500's. A few weeks
ago there was an article in the newspaper about steam puddings and it
mentioned one - Sussex Pond Pudding ...."with its filling of brown sugar,
butter and a whole lemon". I was wondering if there were many recipes that
were specific to Sussex that our BONIFACE ancestors would have used.
