Hi Pauline,

We will! I'm thinking that my own idea of a BIG database maybe redundant,
others are almost to that point and I would be reinventing the wheel. I'm
working on the live database idea, similar to the one we are experimenting
with on the BIG site where everyone one can input data directly to it. I
envision each entry to have the basics, surname, name, BMD etc so it fits
nicely on an html page. The surname however would be a link to a separate
page with all the known info about that person, sort of like a dossier. This
is where something like the info provided by Barbara would go. There are
some things that just can't fit in a database format.
To do this there are some logistical problems as you might imagine, I need
access to a cgi bin for one thing and I can't do it without a website being
hosted by one that provides this type of access. I have found the place to
host it but it will be next year before I can put it all together. Still
waiting for my ship to come in but I think it's on the horizon at least
now<grin>.

Thankyou for sending this transcript I found it very interesting and the
amount at the end it would be worth a fortune if it were around to day.

Steve is there a place on BIG this could be put with the rest of the
information on Captain William what was found so that future Boniface's can
view.
