Kirklinton is at grid NY 43/67 which is north of Carlisle. There is a church
and Kirklinton Hall, which is now a burned out wreck. It was once a casino/club
owned by the Krays of London!!!

Wabbeyholes, Riggyeat and Mount do not appear on the modern Ordnance
Survey map in the Kirklinton area nor on my 1913 OS map. I can't find them on
my 1870s map either.

My knowledge of local dialect is limited, perhaps if someone could let us all know
what the various words mean, they might have been changed in time.

RIGG, appears many times on the maps
YEAT, no idea
MOUNT, seems obviously a hill, perhaps the name of a house on a hill.
