Subject: Scots origins csv files

I hope I am not out of order asking this question here but I thought this
was a place where many people would be accessing Scots Origins.

When I try to down load my records as csv files by clicking on that button,
I get the information as .txt files so I can't import them into Excel. I
have done a search and found instructions which amounted to four pages! but
still didn't seem to suit my setup. I use Word 2002 and Excel 2002. I have
had communication with someone who uses MSWorks with no problems and am
most jealous!

If anyone has a solution to this problem for me, could you please email me
off list.
