I assume you mean April 15, 1773. That would be 229 years ago today!
Do you have any more information on Walter Elliot and Isabel Grieve and
their ancestors?!!!! This is the first information that I have found on
them.

I'm trying to hook into the family tree in the Elliot book. Seems like
I'm missing 2 or 3 generations.

I do have an original letter written by Isabel to her son Thomas in New
Kingston, NY, dated 1818. I will post transcriptions of this letter &
13 others sent from Scotland & Canada to Thomas in New Kingston, NY, to
the Delaware County NY web site mentioned by Mary Curtis in a previous
message. I will let the list know when I post them and the address
again at that time. The letters are quite interesting and have first
hand information about relatives and friends in Roxbourghshire, Scotland
and around Perth, Canada. I feel I know these people personally now.
