Thank you for the information on the Born, Lucas, Aycock cemetery. My wife
and I have been to the cemetery a couple of times in our search for more
info on the John Born family. There is a Benjamine Franklin Born that was
one of the sons of Thomas Payton.
Thomas and his wife Jane Lucas had about ten children. I can send you the
names of them if you do not have that information.Benjamine married Mary Ida
Ray and they had 7 children. If you do not have their names let me know as
I also have them. Of all the children that Thomas and Jane had only one was
a girl. Her name was Nancy Caroline Born. I cannot find where the Aycock
family came into the Born or Lucas family. Do you know where this may have
occurred? There are not many of the markers that are readable in the
cemetery. We will plan to go back to the cemetery and record the ones that
we can read. Would be glad to review any pictures you have in hopes of
identifying them. We could plan to meet at the cemetery on any other place
you might suggest. Let us know......James(Jim) and Maureen Born, 209
