Subject: Which dam destroyed NH towns.

My 89yo mother E-mailed the information to me that when she was a
pre-schooler 1910-1915, her mother became very upset. A newly
erected dam was destroying some nearby towns in NH where her
relatives lived. We need the names of those towns, and need to know
what happened to the records which were moved to another location.
Does anyone out there know which dam this could be. My mother was
born in Danbury NH and lived in that area at that time.........If no
one knows the direct answer, where could I search on-line for the
answer? Which government agency would be responsible for building a
dam? Thanks for any help you can give us.......Mary Strovink Daukas
