Of Middleboro, April 18, 1997, Gertrude Eleanor Kennedy, age 90, died at her
home after a period of declining health. Daughter of the late Robert A., Annie
L. (Duhan) and her second mother, Susan M. (Martin) Kennedy. She was born on
Christmas day 1906 on the Duhan Homestead in Admiral Rock, Shubenacadie, Nova
Scotia. Gertrude was employed for 43 years with the Massachusetts Dept. of
Fisheries and Wildlife, retiring in 1973. She resided in Concord, N.H. and
moved to Middleboro in 1983. She is survived by her devoted sister and
caregiver Margaret M. Kennedy of Middleboro, a brother Maurice J. Kennedy of
So. Harwich and she was the sister of the late Mary L. Kennedy of Nova Scotia,
