Hello,

I grew up with only one set of Grandparents. I managed to talk to my
grandmother on my mother's side several years ago but only a few questions.
It looks like some of the family history she did mention is wrong. My
mother remembers some of it. I was able to get some information from
my father on his side of the family. I have some other family members that
I want to talk to.

When I was a kid I could not keep all the family names straight as I had
cousins, aunts, and uncles with a number of family names, some remarried.

One of my Bryer ancestors was working on the family genealogy and died
before it was completed. My Grandmother sought advice from his brother,
a lawyer, who said to throw it out. She did. My grandmother did keep
a Gunnison Genealogy book which greatly helped on one line. The book
was published in 1878 and I am looking into publishing it on the web.
Unfortunely the other family lines have not been easy. I can see where
this research can take years. Even finding previously published material
can take time.

I have another relative that is doing Genealogy but we only have one or
two lines in common. I think I actually progressed further than they
on some of the lines. I have to send off a packet of information and hope
they will return a copy of their findings.
