A special notice for all descendants of John Thomas Smith b 1820 Boston who mar. Lois Patterson of Edgecomb, ME on Nov. 29, 1849 Boston. His children were: Ella Frances, Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie), Woodbury Ammond, Edward Everett, Caroline Augusta, Adeline Lenora & Sarah. His daughter, Mary Elizabeth mar. Timothy Augustus Stacy of MA and lived one time in Merrimack, MA and their children were: Elroy, May, Sarah (Lizzie), Ella, Myra, Frank & Martha Stacy.
CIVIL WAR DEDICATION CEREMONY: T.W. Hyde Camp #46 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and T. W. Hyde Auxiliary #11, Bath along with the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Department of Maine and the Edgecomb Historical Society, will sponsor a Civil War headstone dedication for JOHN THOMAS SMITH at the Edgecomb Cemetery, Rt. 27, on Sunday, April 29th, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. Larry R. Smith had discovered that his Great, Great Grandfather who served with the Co. G of the 20th Maine Infantry Regiment never had a military headstone. The stone was ordered and received from the Federal Government and plans have been made for the dedication. The Maine Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 20th Re-enactor
