I am looking for family of my GG Grandfather, William Lyman Clark b. 1814. Now as to were is the question ? I have copy of 1860 Carroll Township, Washington Co., Pa. that states he was born in Boston, Ma. His wife was Catherine Mulligan b. 1821 Ireland. The Mulligan family moved to Aylmer, Quebec when Catherine was a child.
According to marriage records, William Lyman Clark was from New York.
According to LDS records Lyman and Catherine moved to Washington Co., Pa in 1840 from N.Y. They had 6 sons in Pa., Augustus, John, Lyman, Robert (my G Grandfather), George, and Benjamin.
The copy of 1900 Census I have of Robert, he states his father was born in New York.
I know 2 of the boys were Shearman (barbers). They worked in a Barbershop together .
So I'm hoping someone on this Boston list can help me out with this. Any information would be most grateful.
Thank-you,
Jo Clark
