My name is Margaret Boles. I was born in Stonewall, Mississippi. My gr-gr- grandfather was Aaron (Aron, Owren, Oren) Boles. I can not make any connections with any Boles from the Carolinas. I have been looking for years and no results. I do not know anything about his parents, or siblings. I have information that leads me to believe he was born in Clarke, Alabama 1817. Would anyone happen to have any info on him? Thanks.

Here is something that may or may not mean anything. Don't know what to
think about these will dates? Margaret Bowles was married to Drury Ragsdale
and when this will was written she was with a child. David and Gideon Bowles
were her brothers. David was made guardian of her children, David mentions a
lawsuit family in his Will 1806, Bourbon Co, Ky. Could Margarets children be
the lawsuit family? David and Elijah Bowles witness a sale of property in
1769. Margarets children would be old enough to witness a sale in 1769. In
1760 Margaret sold the property that Drury Ragsdale had left her in his
will, that was to be her son when he turned 21 (if she had a son). A Daniel
Claiborne was a witness to this sale in 1760. If Daniel Claibourne was old
enough to witness a sale in 1760 then he was old enough to have a daughter
named Mary b.1759-60. In 1782 Elijah Bowles and Mary Bowles are listed with
a son Claibourne Bowles. Elijah Bowles DNA does not match David and Gideon
Bowles DNA. John Fleming Bowles, son of Elijah, named a son Daniel. I'm
thinking it would be a good ideal to find some DNA from this Ragsdale family
and see if they match Elijah Bowles.
P1, Will Book 1. Dated 17 Nov 1749. Will of Drury Ragsdale of Dale parish.
Wife Margaret to have use of plantation on batts run for life, but if the

Margaret married Thos Puryear in 1749 He died before1761, and David became
guardian of the children. David and Gedeon (sic)witnessed a sale to Thomas
Puryear in 1749 in Henrico Co. Clearly two brothers witnessing their
sister's dowry arrangement. In July 1761, Gideon bought 350 ac in Goochland
from Henry Martin, who had married Margaret Bowles in Feb, of that year
