Richard R. Moore

Richard Robert "Bear Claw" Moore, 58,
of Dravosburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. He was the son of the
late Woody Wendell and Alice Halo Smith Moore and was born Aug. 27,
1952, in Duquesne. He was a member of Council of Three Rivers
American Indian Center, Dorseyville, Dravosburg Fire Hall, Dravosburg
American Hays Moose and St. John of the Cross Lutheran Church. He is
survived by his spouse, Cynthia Brown, of Dravosburg; sons, Brant
(Julie) Moore, of Munhall, Stefan Moore, of Dravosburg, and Richard
R. (Lisa) Moore Jr., of Luzerne; daughters, Emma Lee Brown, of North
Huntingdon, and Kimberly Renee (Eric) Long, of Raeford, N.C.;
grandchildren, William, Livia, Alicia and Colin; siblings, Marion,
Woody, Billy, Fleck, Boyd Moore, Inez Jenkins, Mary Robinson, Lydia
Hale, Linda Sammartin, Barcina Bole and Edie Spalding. He was
preceded in death by a brother, John "Red Bird" Moore. Friends will
be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 2 p.m. Tuesday until
time of service at 6 p.m. at STRIFFLER'S OF DRAVOSBURG/!
WEST MIFFLIN FUNERAL HOME, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd.,
Dravosburg, PA 15034. Rembrances may be made to the Council of Three
Rivers American Indian Center, 120 Charles St., Dorseyville, PA 15238.
