I was really surprised to see the email in my box so quickly! I thought it was just a copy of my own post!

Could it be the same George William Bowley? I know very little about him except that he had problems with his legs in later life. Also that he was married to Nannie Eishelman (Eshelman?) and they had a lot of children.

George William Bowley was born about 1879 and died in 1946-48. He had 2 half brothers...Joseph and Clinton Carpenter. Also one full brother...Andrew Wallace
