Has anyone else come across "Wendell "D" Warren of Etna WY USA" where I
assume WY stands for Wyoming State.

Or is there anyone from that State that could do a look up in the State
Phone book to contact Wendell?

> Alexander Pearson Boyd (b 1810 or 1813) is named as the son of Mathew
(sometimes Matthew) Boyd of Camberwell in his will proved 1835. Mathew's
wife was Elizabeth Smith (daughter of Rev William Smith of Camberwell).

> AP Boyd is mentioned in "An East India Company Cemetry: Protestant Burials
in Macao" (Ride and Ride, 1996) under the entry for his business partner
Richard Turner. It states, that they were partners in the firm of Turner
and Co. Richard Turner was registered as a Merchant in Bengal (where AP's
brothers had a compnay Boyd and Co.) in 1822. By 1826 he had moved from
India to Canton, to establish his own agency, principally trading opium.
The company was housed in the Spanish factory. Richard Turner became a life
member of the Medical Missionary Society in China.

1834 - 1837. There are no further entries in the directories checked at the
British Library until 1851 when a Captain Alexander Boyd 2nd European Bengal
Fusiliers Rifle Co is listed (not sure if this is the same person). The
same entry then appears through to 1855. In 1855 there is also an AC Boyd
listed as assistant to R Sloley.
