Hello List:

I am currently researching my ancestor John P. Boyle
I was sent the information that a John Boyle Age 20 in 1834 arrived in PA
on the ship Adam Lodge from Londonderry, Ireland.

I would like to prove that this could be my John P. Boyle.

I have found him in the 1850 Census in Tuscaloosa, AL with his wife and
children. The record shows him being from PA.
He married Catharine Hopper Curling May 4, 1843.

Their children were George Curling Boyle, Charles H., William M., Bassel
M., Eli P. P. and R. S. Boyle

My gggrandfather was George Curling Boyle. He served in the Civil War with
a Mississippi Regiment and after being injured was dismissed and traveled
to Texas where he married Mary Francis Nelson ( also from AL) and raised
his family.

I have information from their children on but would appreciate any leads or
help on the above families. My cousins and I have been searching for
information on John P. Boyle and his heritage. We have been told by our
grandparents that we were of Scottish descent but no idea.

Thanks,

Donna Wagner
