In response to "what town in the coal regions":
My Catharine Boyle and her children are found in the Coaldale, PA
Schuylkill County) census of 1890. They may have lived in nearby Summit
Hill (Carbon County) prior to that.
Catharine had remarried (to Daniel Gallagher) and had two more children:
Annie and Phillip (a Catholic priest.) Daniel may have been a widower
with children.
Mary Ann Boyle was married to Patrick McGeehan and had 3 children:
Dennis, Joseph, and Annie (my grandmother.)
Samuel Boyle was married and had 5-6 children including: Samuel Jr.,
George (a Catholic priest), Mary, Kate, and Dennis. I am interested in
finding the descendents of this line. Some may be in the Philadelphia
area since Samuel III was an editor of the Philadelphia Bulletin.
