Subject: Question of children of John M. Bozeman

Henry, on 7-22-1997 you stated John M. Bozeman had three daughters. Others
have made the same remarks in the past refering to three daughters.

When I check census records: I find Nancy Delilah (Lila) who married James
T. Honea and Melinda Jane (Linda) who married William t. Kirk. However I am
confused at that point. The 1870 census shows Elmina b ca 1860 but she is not
show in 1880. On the other hand Martha C. who married John M. Neal in 1876
is shown in 1880 as Martha Howell b ca 1860.

Is Elmina and Martha the same person? If not what happened to Elmina?
Why was Martha shown as Howell in 1880 when she was married in 1876 and where
was her husbane?

The 1880 census also shows Lucinda and Thomas Howell living near her father
and having three more children: Lottie Howell b ca 1869; Isaac (after her
father) born ca 1872 and Adaline b ca 1875.

Any comments?
