Hello Nancy,

I understand that you are not sure that Brittain Bozeman is the father of
Alexander Griffen Bozeman. However, I am curious regarding what information
you have which indicates that he might be. The census records for Brittain
would seem to indicate that he had two sons and two daughters. One son
would have been born before 1774. The other son would have been born
1794-1800. Brittain most likely died between 1820-1830. 1820 was the last
census record I can find for him. He would have been about 73 years old in
1820. His wife most likely died between 1810-1820. 1810 was the last
census record I can find for her.

Alexander Griffen Bozeman was not born until about 1826. This makes it very
unlikely that he is the son of Brittain. However, I suppose he could be the
son of one of Brittain's sons. Does anyone have any information on the
children of Brittain Bozeman?
