Emma,

Do you still have the post I sent two years ago about this man? If not
I can re-send it. He is certainly real, but a real mystery. The story
about him makes it 'sound' like he went back to England for his education.
But it also sounds like he was born in VA.

The main thing he illustrates is that there are a lot of people in the
18th century that we need to identify and find their place on our tree.
