I am interested in finding further information about the Harmon Bozeman as
mentioned in the following deed.

Richmond County, GA Deed Book A - -page 73 - - Feb 19, 1794 - - John
Kennedy of Richmond County, GA; receipt for pay for slaves sold to
Agness Bozeman of Edgefield Dist., SC, administrix of estate of Harmon
Bozeman, deceased. Witness: James Syms, John Rivers."

I have a Harmon W. Bozeman who married Nancy Burnett, b. Aft. 1790, listed
by June Bork in her Burnetts and thier Connections Vol 2 as being the nancy
in the following family.

Philemon Bozeman, SR. & David Bozeman to John Bozeman of Newberry Co., land
on Half-way Swamp , was sold to David Bozeman, On north by Wm. Carter, Jr.,
east by Pleasant Burnett, south by Philemon Bozeman.
Nov 22, 1816.
Witnesses: M. W. Moon, Andrew Lee Lrk, Thomas Anderson, J.P.

Elizabeth wife of David, she was Elizabeth Coleman.
Proved Oct 4, 1819

Trying to see how the Bozemans fit into the Edgefield Area. I know that
quite a few Edgefield families also had connections to Richmond Co., Ga.....
in fact I am one of them. Most of my paternal grandfather's lines were from
Edgefield area, and my Dad and i were born in Richmond Co., Ga. Grew up in
North Augusta, SC.

Would be interested in anything on this Bozeman family.

My Edgefield Co, SC Surnames - most back to at least the 1790 EC, SC census.

Bryan/Bryant, Burnett, Carter, Coursey, Dean/Deen, Gentry/Jentry,
Holloway, Hill, Kirkland, Loveless, May, Mitchell, Rotton/Rauton/etc.,
Reynolds, Rowe/Roe, Scurry, possibly Withers.
Also: Hardy, Rivers, Watkins who were in Edgefield for a short time before
moving to the Warren Co., Ga area.
