Hi, Kristie, and thanks for the info on the Bozeman web site.
It is obvious that a good deal of work went into this, much of
it probably very good. However, the early part is just a theory,
I would think, but I am not opposed to such theories because
they can lead to new knowledge if they stand up to known facts.

If this theory holds up, we can pretty much shut down the Bozeman
research efforts, but first I would hope that Ms. Paula can tell us:
(1) where to learn more about Nathan Bozeman of MD; (2) how James
Bozeman of Edgecombe Co. came to have the middle name Edward,
and how he came to take the place of the Joseph Edward Bozeman
about whom the Rev. Bozeman told us in his book of sketches; and
(3 where we can learn more about Jefferson Richardson, father of
Ann Bozeman???

Still, this has served to wake up what had been a rather sleepy list
here of late. In order not to send out a totally wasted message, I will
attach a marriage record from Somerset Co, MD, which makes one
wish to know more about Isaac Bozeman Scoolfield and James B.
Scoolfield who appeared earlier in 1766-69 MD.

15 June 1802 - Risdon Bozman m. Elizabeth Schoolfield

Best regards to all, Ron Bullock
