Martha B. Bradshaw, age 97, of Richmond, In., died Thursday ( May 6, 2004 ) at Reid Hospital.

She was born in Wayne County, In., on September 28, 1906, to George and Anna Hursting Selm and lived in this area all of her life. A lifelong member of St. Andrew Church, where she was a charter member of the former St. Anne's Alter Society. She was a homemaker and had worked as a teacher's aide. She had volunteered as a Gold Lady at Richmond State Hospitaland she was an active member of the Richmond Art Club. She taught art classes for many years in this area.

Her husband Thomas Bradshaw , died August 4, 1990 he was the son of Ed & Flora Weinger Bradshaw of Darke Co., Ohio, Ed Bradshaw b.in Darke Co., was the son of Preston & Jane Rebeca Bowers Bradshaw and Preston Bradshaw b.1861 in Ky. was the son of John Harrison & Lucinda Jennings Bradshaw, John Harrison Bradshaw b.1812 in Bath Co.,Ky was the son of David b. in Va., & Mary Crooks Bradshaw. David's father was James Bradshaw from Bucks Co., Pa.

Prayer service for Martha Slem Bradshaw will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday May 11,2004, in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 am in St.Andrew Church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
