Subject: [BRASWELL] "Mc????) or "Mack" BRASWELL/BRAZEL, 1800s

Does anyone out there have any knowledge of a male BRAZEL, BRAZELL,
BRASWELL,
BRASSIL, BRAZZLE...etc (rhymes with dazzle), with a given name beginning
with "Mc" or "Mac",
like McDonald, McDaniel, that could have been nicknamed "Mack", and lived
in the southwestern
quadrant of Georgia ca. 1835 - 1900?
A closer look at William B. BRAZEL's (1863-1944) death certificate has
now got me convinced
that his father's name was listed as "Mack" instead of "Mark". Another
clue is that one of
William B.'s grandsons was listed as "Mack" on the 1930 census.
I've done every kind of Ancestry .com wildcard search on Mac" Braz" and
Mc" Brazel (soundex)
and have come up fairly dry except of a McDonald and a McDaniel, one a
marriage date, and the
other a Confederate service record. One of these might be the man I'm
looking for. I really need
a reliable census record.
Best Regards,
Gary
