Listers--

Aubary Brazel's second panel (#13-25) came in today--

15-8-9-8-11-22-16-20-26-12-14-15-15

At first glance, it looks like Aubary's "perfect match to the Breazeale
Haplotype" just got shot outta the saddle-- three mutations--+1 at the first
number and -1,-2 at the last two numbers--usually means "Probably not
related." Bad news for those with South Georgia BRAZEL connections.

But wait. Which SNPs are involved? #13--the first in this string, is
DYS458, one of the top five fastest mutators. And the last two (#24/25),
DYS464c,d--are the fastest mutating gene used by any lab. This means
Aubary's lineage probably branched off the colonial Breazeale tree earlier
(Virginia?) than the other three in the Breazeale Haplogroup-- Joel
Breazeale, Robert Breazeale (proxy for Jan Dipley), and Doug Brazil. Doug's
connection is doubtless the remotest of all--probably back to c.1700
Bristol, England--but nevertheless his DNA string exactly matches Joel and
Bobby Breazeale's.
