I am looking for information about the following people:

Daniel Makinson Fox (1830-1918) - born and died in Britain, but lived
most of his life in Brazil, where he was chief engineer for the Sao
Paulo Railway Company.

John Miller - born in Scotland, emigrated to Sao Paulo, where he
worked on the railway in the middle of the 19th Century.

Carlota Alexandra Fox - wife of John Miller. (I don't yet know if she
was any relation to D.M. Fox.)

I would be very grateful for any information about these three
people, or any suggestions about how to find more information.
