Subject: early Brumbaugh lineage

Thanks to Jacob Swartz, Janet Cahalin and all who have provided lots of
good information about the descendants of Johannes Heinrich Brumbaugh.
Now that I have come to realize there were not one, but two, Conrad
Brumbaughs, I need some clarification. (I have not yet seen the old G.M.
Brumbaugh book, but perhaps it doesn't answer this anyway).
I had been listing the birth year for the first Conrad (son of JHB) as
1768, which I didn't question since his brother George Y. supposedly was
born in 1760. (I still have trouble with the 26 year gap between the
birth of Jacob 1734 and George 1760, but that's another matter). But it
now appears that the Conrad born in 1768 (who married Mary Elizabeth
Miller) was actually the son of Jacob (1734), and thus the grandson of
JHB. In any case, the Family Tree Maker web site user pages on the JHB
family (posted by Karla K. Jefferson) show NO birthdate for the first
Conrad, and also show the second Conrad (1768) as the son of Jacob
(1734).
For what it's worth, can anyone comment on two other FTW user web pages
which I found intriguing...
--Under "Sprague Database - Index of Names", a Conrad Brumbaugh is
listed as being b. 1735, d. 1791, married a "C. Hiser." Don't know the
source, but this fellow would seemingly fit perfectly as JHB's second
son, born the year after his son Jacob (my guess only). Thoughts?
Verification?
--Under a "Rench and Related Families" page, a Conrad Brumbaugh is
shown with spouse "Catharine Deeter." Haven't been through enough data
to see if these two show up later.
Although Conrad is not my line, I'd like to hear from those who may have
run across this before and can explain. Thanks in advance.
