I agree with Joan and I'm ging to stick my two cents worth into
this conversation. I don't think Doneva's need to know about her
ancestory is any different from ours as natural born of our parents.
It has nothing to do with who brought us up or loved us, but the
need to know and desire to know about the past. That is what each
and every one of us involved in genealogy is doing. FINDING OUT
ABOUT THE UNKNOWN. Our reasons may vary( and it is not ours to
judge those reasons), but need, or want, to known is just as strong
or we wouldn't be doing what we are doing. This has no reflection
on our upbring, respect or disrespect for our parents. Now I have
had my say too. Thanks for listening, by the way I am not adopted.
