Hello Mary Ann:

Did your Bashore's come from York County to Cumberland County?

Some Bashores of various spellings lived in close proximity to
early Bowsers in York County and I've often wondered if there
may have been any connection way back somewhere, though I've
never found anything to indicate they were connected.

Some of both families also ventured to Somerset County in the
early 1800's-late 1700's.

Probably just coincidence.
