Hello everyone, I'm a new subscriber, and would like a little help, if
possible.
I believe my gggrandfather was of German decent. His name was Cornelius MASTIN
(EN,ON) he was born in US., but where I don't know.His parents must have come
to America in the 1700's. He married an English girl, by the name of Caroline,
but that's all I can tell you.I don't know her surname. They lived
"somewhere in Ontario, Can." What I do know, is they had a son they named
Ichabod, born in ONTARIO.
He married Susan Tripp on March 1st, 1842, in Sophiasburg, Ont.They
homesteaded in Tyendenaga,ONT.
I cannot find where Cornelius and Caroline lived at the time of Ichabod's
birth,
or any record of his birth. Or the record of Cornelius's death. I am
really stuck. I have tried N.Y. BUT unsuccessful too. HELP
