Earliest COB church in Washington Co was the Spohn Meeting House (foundation
only remains visible)(started ca.1775??) , and, a short distance from what
evolved from Spohn (prior to 1832)-- the Ten Mile Church of the Brethren,
Marianna, Wash Co PA. Ten Mile was near Ten Mile Creek. Several Miles from
Ten Mile COB (still in use today + has a cemetery) is the daughter church of
Ten Mile, South Pigeon Creek Dunkard Church (torn down; cemetery still there).
If you want more info on these churches, you can consult Two Centuries of COB,
and I'd be happy to answer questions if I can.
In addition, for Ten Mile COB, I have a copy of the membership list for "prior
to 1832" through the very early 1900's (1908??). If you have a few surnames,
I'll look them up for you.

Hi,
I am currently researching my Brethren (Dunkard) family in
Pennsylvania, Washington County. Can someone tell me in which
counties the Brethren tended to live circa 1790-1800-s in PA. I find
a creek in Washington County named Dunkard Creek. Also am interested
in Green County.
Thank you.
