Here is what I have from Descendants of Christian Shively of Warwick Twp.,
Lancaster Co., PA ...compiled by Arthur G. Black, 1943. Filmed by Salt Lake Film

p. 121: Esther Scheibly b. 1 Dec 1732 md Ludwig Smith of Chanceford Twp., York,
PA. He died 1 Nov 1821 at St. Clair Twp., Col. Co., O.(Ohio).

Chr. Scheibly I (Christian Shively I) of York Twp., York, PA died in 1773 and by
his will devised 886 1/2 of some 1100 a. of land he owned in Nor'thd. Co. Pa. on
the n. side of Penns Creek to his son-in-law Ludwick Smith who had m Esther, dau
of Chn. S. I. the Smiths went to this land and lived on it until probably 1807
when the family moved to St. Clair Twp., Col. Co., O. Here Ludwick S. died 1 Mar
1819, date from German script of Chn. s. II) He left a will dated 1 mar 1819,
probated in "Probate Records" book #4, p. 266 at Lisbon, O. He was then of St.
Clair Twp., Col., O. Will probated 10 Dec 1821.
His will mentions:
Wife - not mentioned.
Children: My 3 daughters.
1. Catharine Smith
2. Elizabeth Smith now Elizabeth Philips.
3. Magdalena Smith

I have conveyed to them as tenants in common the land upon which I brought
from Buffalo Valley to this country, which he already recd. (This undoubtedly
refers to Buffalo Valley in Union Co., PA) "I have upwards of 2,500.00 on
interest with Melcher Toller of Union Co., PA for which I have authorized
Christian Shively, Jr., to Collect - when collected to be divided between my four
children:

4. Jacob
5. Judith - now Judith Bernhard (He was Wm. Bernhard)
6. Esther
7. Susanna - now Susanna Fricker (Fricher?) - Susanna's children; land to be
purchased for her life then to go to her children.

I assume Col. Co., O is Columbiana Co., Ohio.
