The Ranck/Ronk name has proven to be a plethora. For something more
difficult, there are the Wimers of PA and the Brisbins of Iowa. My
grandmother (maternal) was Edna May Wimer b circa 1890, said to be from PA.
Her first marriage was to a Blair, producing one son, James. Her second
marriage was to Raymond Arthur Brisbin b circa 1885 of Iowa, though I don't
know they were married in Iowa. The Brisbin/Wimer marriage produced four
children while moving westward to CA, where they both died about 30 years
ago. Any thoughts? Don
