Yes --back when I was trying to trace my ggrandmothers background -I found
census information that contradicted (violently) the family tradition. I
wrote my surviving gr-aunt. And didn't hear from her! -and didn't hear
from her!

Then one day --my mother calls from Florida: "What did you write Aunt Eva?
She says: She's the last person in the world that knows what happened
--and she's GOING to BE the last person in the world that knows what
happened --and --YOU TELL YOUR SON TO SHUT HIS MOUTH!!!"
