The book, Joseph Glick Family Scrapbook by Esther Irvine Colyn, 1961 states the
following:
"Michael Wine, son of Johann George Wine and his wife Margaret, was b. 17 May
1747, (d. 1822). on the River Rhine in Germany and came to America with his
parents and brother Adam, in 1749. In 1766 he purchased a farm near Boonsboro, MD
where he m. Susannah Miller, b. Nov. 24, 1754, d. Mar. 8, 1848. She is thought to
be a sister of Daniel Miller, b 1751, and Jacob Miller, b 1748. His first 5
children were born in Md. On April 3, 1782 he purchased a farm near Forestville,
Shenandoah County, VA where his last 7 children were born. 12 children. His
brother Adam Wine m. Elizabeth Glick, the oldest sister of John Glick, Jr, father
of Joseph Glick who emigrated to Holt County, MO."
Listed then are the 12 children of Michael Wine and Susannah Miller and who they
married, and some of their children.
Hope this helps. Please look at the long Miller letter I just sent too.
