Hm-m-m, I wonder!
Do records of the early members of SnowHill exist?
My 4G-grandfather, John Becker, supposedly married Anna Snowberger.
However, I have been unable to confirm information back there. I am
pretty sure that his father Johann Henry Becker was born on the Atlantic in
crossing - supposedly in 1719 with (uncle?) Peter Becker, but I have reason
not to trust the source of this information without confirmation. On the
other hand, J. Henry's oldest son, born in 1740, was named Peter, so birth
on the Atlantic in 1719 is quite reasonable. The problem is that I can
find no documentary evidence of J. Henry or his father, supposedly Johann
Georg Becker, after arrival. John was born in 1758 and Anna in 1768 - This
is a stretch, but I am wondering whether J. Henry and his wife might have
joined the SnowHill group.
